I have just brought out as an updated Kindle edition my book about the Iberian lynx, ‘The Algarve Tiger’ the Iberian lynx no longer roams wild in Portugal’s Algarve but 17 years ago scientists believed it held the largest Portuguese population.

The world’s most endangered big cat lives not in some far-flung jungle or inaccessible snow capped Mountain range but in Portugal’s Algarve. This was the incredible fact that two journalists discovered in 2000 and caused them to write this book about the Iberian lynx. The Algarve Tiger is still the only book in English about this stunning predator.
